IT to roll out self-service password manager for faculty and staff

After a successful summer pilot, the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is pleased to announce the roll out later this fall of the self-service password manager for WCU faculty and staff.

This new self-service is available to both Mac and Windows users. Windows users can enroll and reset passwords by either using their machine’s locally installed software client or by accessing the website letmein.wcu.edu; Mac users can enroll and reset passwords by accessing the website letmein.wcu.edu. The website is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all on- and off-campus users. Users must follow the WCU password requirements when setting their new passwords.

All WCU faculty and staff with an active WCU e-mail account are eligible to enroll. Users enroll by selecting four security questions. In order to reset passwords, users must be able to recall their security question answers. For assistance in recalling security questions, contact the IT Help Desk at 227-7487.
