The Internet went down on September 6. Did you notice?

On Friday, September 6, the internet went down for 11 hours at WCU. But nobody noticed. That’s because IT was able to complete the addition of a second internet connection this summer.

In the Division of IT, we have a new face and some familiar faces in new roles. Through a repurposing of positions to better meet the needs of the university, Neil Calvert and Sarah Speed have new roles and are joined by our new employee Marjorie. Together they are teaming up to enhance the business analysis capacity and capability of the Division.
