The Division of Information Technology has a new online home on the WCU Hub. The intranet site, available here https://intranet.wcu.edu/doit-facultystaff/Pages/default.aspx provides a single point of access to IT resources, and allows faculty and staff to
• make an IT project request
• view services provided by IT
• search a directory of IT staff
• read news and updates from IT
• stay up to date on IT training events
Log into the site from on campus using your Outlook credentials. When off campus, first log into the virtual private network at vpn.wcu.edu using your Outlook credentials, then log into the WCU Hub.
The IT site is the newest addition to the intranet, which provides faculty and staff central and secure access to a growing number of university services, and runs on Microsoft’s SharePoint software. The site also makes use of the newest version of SharePoint 2013, and gives a preview of the platform’s design changes and feature updates.
