In an effort to meet contractual, regulatory and statutory obligations to protect certain types of data, automatic e-mail forwarding to external addresses from WCU email will be retired Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010.
How does this change affect you? You will be affected if the following statement is true:
- You are automatically forwarding your university e-mail to an external address. For example, if you are automatically forwarding university email to GMail, Yahoo, etc.
This change only affects faculty and staff using automatic forwarding — you will still be able to manually forward e-mail to external addresses. The capability for WCU student e-mail was previously retired.
