Class TIPS, a service of the Technology Commons in the lower level of Hunter Library, offers workshops, small group and one-on-one assistance in utilizing software programs to complete course assignments and projects. Go to http://doIT.wcu.edu to see a schedule of currently offered workshops. Scroll down to “Upcoming Training for Students” and select “See All.” Check it often – as soon as the room is reserved, the workshop appears on the calendar! No registration required – just show up early or on time to get a seat.

You can also see other workshop or software program descriptions on the website and request that a workshop be scheduled by visiting the upper right corner of the page.

Small group and individual appointments are also available. Students will be paired with a peer instructor who specializes in the software program. Appointments and walk-up software education services are available at the Technology Commons.

Other services include class visits and presentations to inform students about our services. Custom in-class workshops can also be provided with a three week notice and consultation with the instructor. If you are interested in these services, please contact Zaneta Summers at zsummers@wcu.edu.

Class TIPS also provides workshops and walk-up assistance to eBriefcase students. For more information, contact Laura DiNunzio at ladinunzio@wcu.edu.
