The recording of any student’s personally identifiable information is subject to University Policy 122, which identifies specific requirements that must be met in order to use video capture in a classroom environment. These policies apply to both in-person courses and remote learning scenarios, where video recordings including students’ images are created.

For Fall 2020 activities, we encourage all faculty to review this policy, with specific attention to Policy Section B.1 pertaining to the creation and maintenance of educational video capture records.
