Whee Read Summer Literacy Program
For Additional Information
Program runs from June 10 – July 22, Mon through Fri, 8am – 3pm.
- Reading buddies on Thursdays and Fridays 12:15 – 12:45 pm. Sign up for Reading Buddies.
- Playground volunteers every day 1:30 – 2 pm. Sign up for Playground.
- Partial or full food scholarships. The cost for lunch for 6 weeks for a child is $270.
HIGHTS' Bee Well Mentoring Program
HIGHTS’ Bee Well Mentoring Program aims to connect youth 6th-12th grade with caring community members for 1-2 semesters (or longer if they wish!). Matches spend 2 hours a week together pursuing youth’s interests or helping the youth reach any goals set for their time in mentoring. Mentors receive training, access to resources in a GoogleDrive, and ongoing support from HIGHTS while in the program. HIGHTS also plans to debut a Mentoring Curriculum this fall, giving our mentors a flexible guide with suggested session plans to more fully support youth on their path to thriving.
