The Root Cause team in IT is tasked with finding the causes of significant IT issues that affect campus. In this news update we draw your attention to some of the problems we have handled in the last month.
The Division of IT enhances its business analysis capability and capacity
In the Division of IT, we have a new face and some familiar faces in new roles. Through a repurposing of positions to better meet the needs of the university, Neil Calvert and Sarah Speed have new roles and are joined by our new employee Marjorie. Together they are teaming up to enhance the business analysis capacity and capability of the Division.

In tight budget times, strategic purchasing is critical. In 2010, the Division of Information Technology began participating in two combined computer purchasing initiatives that have brought substantial savings to WCU.
