WCU transitioned to Windows Live for student email in 2007. In doing so, students gained access to a more robust email system, increased uptime, and more storage space–and that was just for email! They also gained many additional features that can benefit their academic and social lives.
- SkyDrive: 25GB of online storage. A great way to back up important data. It’s secure and—best of all—available from anywhere in the world where there is an Internet connection.
- Document Collaboration: Students can create spaces that allow them to collaborate with one another on projects, share documents, and post multiple revisions of documents.
- Screen Sharing: Students can share their computer screen with other students over the Internet. A great way to collaborate on projects!
- Social Networking: Students can share their thoughts on a personal blog, share pictures with friends, or just post information about themselves.
