Each month, the Division of IT hi-lights a service provided to the campus. This month’s service is:

Wireless Access for Guests

Guest wireless accounts allow visitors who are on campus for official University business to log in to the “WCU-Guest” wireless network. Accounts are time-limited and grant access to the internet with limited network resources on campus.

Faculty and Staff have the ability to create guest wireless accounts for visitors via the SmartPass guest access tool. With SmartPass, you may create as many guest wireless accounts as necessary to accommodate your guests, or you may create one single account to be used by multiple guests.  You may create guest wireless accounts in advance as well as short notice for either a 24-hour access period or a 5-day access period.
