IT Service of the Month: Password Management | Do IT News

The Division of IT provides a self-service password reset tool for faculty, staff, and student WCUids. Self-service password management allows you to manage your WCUid account should you forget your password or your password expires. Your WCUid is the username assigned by the university that ends in @wcu.edu (faculty/staff) or @catamount.wcu.edu (student).

Eligibility

All WCU Faculty, Staff, and Students with an active WCUid are eligible to enroll. Please refer to the information technology university policies regarding the student and the employee WCUid lifecyle.

Service Availability

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of scheduled maintenance.

IT’s Role

IT maintains the Self-service password management application (Microsoft Azure AD) and the website https://letmein.wcu.edu.

How to Access this Service

Click here to enroll in password reset.  After you register, if you ever forget your WCUid (WCU email, Blackboard, WCU Wireless, etc.) password, you can visit http://letmein.wcu.edu to reset your password.
