The Curative Analysis team in IT is tasked with finding the causes of significant IT issues that affect campus. In this news update, we draw your attention to some of the problems being investigated or issues handled recently.

Storage Outage:  During a configuration change to resolve a vulnerability, some servers temporarily lost their backend storage for applications and shares. The storage configuration was quickly fixed and restored by the administrator.

PawPrint:  On January 4, a Windows update on print servers caused users to be unable to print to PawPrint printers. IT staff rolled back the update and are working on a solution to reschedule the update successfully.

VCAT General:  Several users recently experienced issues signing into VCAT General. The cause was an issue with a certificate renewal during the winter break Data Center outage. The certificate was repaired and renewed by IT staff to correct the problem.
