It’s easy for you to report phishing emails to the Division of IT with just one click! In your Outlook toolbar, you should see Report Message.
Mousing over that gives a few options which you can use to easily mark the message as phishing. Once you do that, our IT team can investigate. No need to write and send an email – just press a button!
If you don’t see this option, you may need to customize your toolbar or update your client, but we can help with that too! Just reach out to the IT Help Desk for assistance (contact information at the top of the newsletter).
You can also report phishing with Outlook on your iPhone or Android.
- iPhone: Select the three horizontal dots at the top.
- Android: Select the three vertical dots at the top.
- Select Report Junk, then Report Phishing.
