For the second year in a row, WCU IT has been recognized by HDI (The Help Desk Institute) as one of the Elite 50 for Customer Satisfaction. This is a global recognition for outstanding technical service and support centers from around the world.
While the IT Help Desk is the coordinating entity for WCU IT, the HDI survey responses completed by faculty, staff, and students are not only for Help Desk issues. This is an award that is shared across IT because every area is involved in problem resolution and service.
In further recognition, HDI announce the ranking of the Elite 50. Last year, WCU was number 25. For 2014 WCU is number 18. There are 800 organizations participating from around the globe.
Dawn Brown, Help Desk Manager, and Candy Benson, Total Quality Manager, received the award at the HDI Conference in Orlando, Florida.
The Division will celebrate at their May IT Division Meeting.
